ONI, short for the Office of Naval Intelligence, is a community designed for gamers to join a framed narrative storytelling experience through Halo's Forge mode—a suite of creator tools that allows players to design new multiplayer maps and modes. Since the introduction of Forge World in Halo: Reach, ONI has been a part of the role-playing community, telling countless stories through our members and collaborating with other Halo clans to share experiences such as raids and custom military simulations.
Our staff is organized like a command structure to facilitate and gamemaster a role-playing experience down to the last detail—whether it’s playing as a UNSC Marine deployed with your squad, an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST) dropping behind enemy lines, or even legendary SPARTANs turning the tide against the Insurrectionists, Covenant, or Banished factions in the ever-expanding Halo universe.
Members participate in a ranking system based on engagement, time spent in each rank, and earned awards as they play Halo Infinite, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, or Halo Wars 2. Organized into famous UNSC ships and ONI divisions, gamers experience the Halo universe with a greater purpose—becoming part of our stories in every game they play.
