We are an applied philosophical community of practice for creatives, intellectuals, researchers, and developers.

By this, we mean that we study philosophy with the express purpose of doing things better, such as creating art, growing our community, and of course, doing more philosophy. We have a strong pragmatist bent but welcome other schools of thought also.

We have a very strong focus on memes and cyberculture, and are not afraid to be reflexive about it. We want to promote self awareness and a practical attitude towards online communities in all their potential and limitations.

We value people who create cool things and actually get things done, but just as important to us is the correct sensibility and a shared intuition around our tastes and values. Taste is paramount.
